INGREDIENTS

Cream Cheese, room Temperature 2 X 8oz/2 X 250 g Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 2 cups/500 ml Worcestershire Sauce 2 tsps/10 ml Onion Flakes 1 tsp/5 ml Lemon Juice 1 tsp/5 ml Cayenne Pepper 1/8 tsp/0.5 ml salt Pecans or walnuts, finely chopped |
INSTRUCTIONS

Measure first 7 ingredients into bowl. Mash and mix together. Shape into ball. Roll in nuts. Put cocktail knives and crackers nearby so guests can dig right in. Leftovers may be reshaped, rewrapped and frozen if not going to be used within a week. Makes about 3 1/4 cups (875 ml) Variation: Add 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped green pepper and 1 tspn (15 ml) chopped pimento. Tiny Balls are attractive. |
